This software, written in C#, carries out linear combination fitting (LCF) using Microsoft Excel’s LinEst function. It is adapted to, but not limited to, use for XANES-LCF. The program is similar to the LCF option in Athena, but it runs much faster, which is of particular interest when carrying out uncertainty analysis calculations according to Gustafsson et al. (2020). A pdf guide accompanies the program to get you started. To use this software, you need to have a Windows operating system (at least Windows 10), and Microsoft Excel should be installed.

The last update was made on 22 February 2023. The current version corrects a number of issues in the original code. For example, imported mu(E) data files may now contain as many as 5,000 rows of data (previously only 800 rows could be handled).
